I’m Zach, a 3rd grader who's on a mission to help the planet and its people.  Last year, I set out to explore my community's needs by doing 52 projects, each for a different organization, all in one year!  I called it the “Zach 52 Project”.  In just one year, I collected and donated over 384 bags of used goods, raised $1775 in donations and saved over 2000 pounds of reusable, recyclable waste from entering landfills, including over 8600 books.

I ran a used uniform drive for Cub Scouts, book drives for schools and even a collection drive gathering stuffed animals so my Humane Society Kids Club could make toys for dogs who were homeless from Hurricane Irma.  I even spent 2 days bagging sand for people in my community to use during the Hurricane!  In one year, I contributed over 100 hours to community service and inspired over 75 people to help.  I’ve learned a lot about the importance of reuse and recycling!

You can find out more about my mission by visiting zachsplanet or following me on Facebook /Zach52Project

Studies show we kill 68 million trees a year to produce paper products!  Did you know studies say by 2050 they'll be more plastic in the ocean than fish!?!    This is the place to visit for kids to become inspired and educated on ways to help the earth.  Zach's Planet will teach you small steps to make big change!
